About First Baptist Church Alief

Founded in 1952, First Baptist Church Alief has been more than a church building — we’ve been a movement of God’s people in Houston’s west side for over 70 years. From the beginning, our heartbeat has been simple: glorify Jesus Christ, preach His Gospel without compromise, and love our neighbors in action and in truth.

We are a church that refuses to settle for routine. When you step through our doors, you will feel the energy of a family that is alive, growing, and serious about the mission God has given us. Every service, every Bible study, and every ministry is designed to build up believers, reach the lost, and strengthen families.
